Sally Perkins is a National leader of Governance with twelve years’ experience as a governor and eleven years as a Chair of Governors in a variety of schools across the county. School Improvement is a passion for Sally and she especially loves developing Leadership and Management in schools. Sally specialises in governance, safeguarding, attachment and looked after children.

Governing bodies need to ensure that at least one person on any staff recruitment panel have undertaken safeguarding training. The session will cover safer recruitment processes and procedures.
