Tom Bennett is the Director and founder of researchED, a grass-roots teacher-led organisation that raises research literacy in education. Tom currently leads the Department of Education’s Behaviour Hubs project designed to reboot behaviour skills in disadvantaged in the UK and is the author of four books on teacher training, behaviour management and educational research. In March 2017, Tom published an independent review of behaviour in schools. He coaches teachers and schools internationally in all aspects of behaviour management and research integration.

Aimed at Secondary Teaching Staff

The focus of the training will be to think about ways to improve behaviour in classrooms and public spaces. Exploring:

• the psychology of child behaviour
• the importance of behaviour
• the importance of habits and routines
• building relationships
• applying consequences

To understand the origins of behavioural difficulties, and to be able to implement practical strategies to manage behaviour successfully.
