High Quality Universal SEND Provision in the Classroom
This course is aimed at Heads of Department within mainstream secondary schools. It consists of two half-day sessions at the GUTP House Sponne School and additional time in another school observing high quality teaching in practice. The training is facilitated by Emma Willmott.
Course Aims
- Understand high quality teaching within the context of SEND in the classroom
- Look at universal classroom provision for SEND and why it is important
- Consider evidence informed classroom strategies to promote high quality teaching
- Observe high quality teaching in practice
- Enable Heads of Department to implement high quality teaching within their own school department
