Unifrog FAQ

Unifrog FAQs

How do I log into Unifrog?

  • Once you open the Unifrog Website, in the top right corner there is a button that says ‘Sign In’

What if I’ve forgotten my password?

  • If you have forgotten your password, don’t worry too much!
  • After clicking the ‘Sign in’ button, you will have the option to ‘Reset your password’
  • Once you have clicked ‘Reset your password’ it will ask you to enter your Sponne email address
  • Check your emails, follow the link that has been sent to your inbox and type in your new password (Make sure you note it down somewhere so you won’t forget it again!)

Why should I take the quizzes?

  • The quizzes will help you to understand what your strengths and weaknesses are and how this can be linked to your future career choices. If you have no idea what you want to do as a career, once you complete these quizzes it will give you lots of suggestions which you can then explore further.
  • It’s a good idea to do these each year as your ideas will change as you get older. Sometimes you will be directed to do them in your PSHE lessons or Tutorial Sessions.

Who should I contact if I can’t find the answer in the Q&As?

Where do I find the placements tool?

  • Once you are on the Unifrog website, click on the Home page
  • Scroll down to the section titled ‘Exploring Pathways’
  • Find the box that says ‘Placements’ and select ‘Go to tool’
  • An alternative way to find the Placements tool would be to use the search bar (on the Unifrog Homepage), simply search ‘Placements’ and the tool will come up

Where do I find the personal statement tool?

  • Go to the home page of the Unifrog website then log in
  • After that, scroll down until you find a section called “Application Materials”
  • Then click into the section called personal statement and you should have the option to create your personal statement
  • This leads to different sections which will help you to create your personal statement
  • You can go to the bottom for some videos to help you write a good statement
  • Another option is to simply click the magnifying glass on the home screen and search for the tool you need.

Where do I find the CV tool?

  • There are three ways to find the CV tool:
  • 1) Go onto the home page of the Unifrog website, after you have logged in. Scroll down slightly, just below where it shows your “Next tasks”, and there should be a button that says “See all your tasks” with an arrow pointing down. Click that button, and “CV maker” should be on the list.
  • 2) If that doesn’t work, then on the Unifrog home page, if you scroll further down, almost to the bottom of the page, you should find the CV tool under the subheading of “Application Materials”.
  • 3) You can also use the search button (a magnifying glass symbol) in the top right of the screen, in between the “Help” and the “Settings” button.
  • 4) If none of these work, contact Mrs Warner (awarner@sponne.org.uk

Work Experience

How do I log my work experience placement?

  • Once you have logged onto Unifrog go down to the section called ‘exploring pathways’ then choose the Placement tool. Click the ‘add new placement button’ and complete the form

What can I edit on the placement form?

  • You can’t edit details once you have added the placement - so make sure you get the email addresses right! Mrs Warner can make changes so send them an email or go and see her

What to do if my placement dates change?

  • Let Mrs Warner know and she can change the dates for you

What if I have two placements?

  • You need to complete two forms, one for each placement

What to do if my placement is cancelled or I need to delete it?

  • If you need to email Mrs Warner to let her know and she can delete this for you - be aware if it’s just a change of date; don’t add a new placement as deleting the old one will send an email to the employer to say it’s cancelled
