On Thursday, Sponne Sixth Form and Year 11 science students had the incredible opportunity to hear from the world-renowned scientist, clinician, and broadcaster, Baron Professor Robert Winston! Over 270 students plus staff were captivated by his fascinating insights into scientific innovation, his ground-breaking work in fertility, and his journey as a leading figure in the scientific community.
The session was not only informative but truly inspiring with Sponne students asking thought-provoking questions to make their teachers proud.
After a lively Q&A, Professor Winston spent the afternoon with Year 5 and 6 students at Towcester CE Primary school, where he sparked curiosity and excitement about science in the next generation.
