Our Careers programme is designed to support you with your future choices. We want you to follow career paths that suit your interests, skills and strengths with the absence of stereotypes.
To help you do this you will have careers lessons during your PSHE lessons, tutorial sessions and through off-time table experiences as well as work experience and the opportunity to go on careers related trips.
You have individual access to Unifrog which is an online platform to help you with your career planning. You can explore different careers; complete quizzes to help you find out your strengths and weaknesses and link these to possible career pathways; research opportunities for study and apprenticeship; log your achievements and evidence of your skills which will help you create a great CV or personal statement.
To help you with all things careers we have a Student Google Site dedicated to this which you can access via the student-dashboard or by clicking this image. This is updated regularly with opportunities and information to help you explore your options.
To help you make decisions about your choices we have an independent careers advisor who you can make an appointment with by speaking to your tutor, PLL or Mrs Williams (she can be found in Student Services). You could also email here: jwilliams@sponne.org.uk
