Congratulations to Moyo following his trip to Sweden at the weekend, as part of the England team attending the Vaxjo Throws International Competition. He was awarded a silver medal and broke (and now holds) the UK national under 18 indoor discus record, throwing 57m. Moyo's personal best is 62.5m. Moyo has also qualified for the Under 18 European Championship in Italy later in the year.
Having started off in Year 7 with Mr Gercs in the athletics club, the Sponne community are all so proud of the fantastic progress Moyo has made on the national and international stage. This is an amazing achievement Moyo - Well done!
