The Sponne Equestrian Squad has enjoyed a two hugely successful weekends of competition, with riders achieving excellent results at both the National Schools Finals at Hickstead and the NSEA October Championship Qualifiers at Bury Farm.
Over the May Bank Holiday weekend, riders travelled to Hickstead to compete in the National Schools Finals in both the Eventer Challenge and Show Jumping competitions. The Eventer Challenge teams delivered outstanding performances, securing 4th place in the 75cm class, alongside an individual placings in the 1mtr Event Challenge & 95cm Show Jumping competitions.
Following this success, the team headed to Bury Farm for the NSEA October Championship Qualifiers. Sponne entered teams in the 70cm, 80cm and 90cm Show Jumping classes, with all three teams qualifying for the Championships. Riders also achieved several individual qualifications across the classes.
Congratulations to all riders who represented the school so brilliantly over both competitions: Dotty, Tilly, Olivia, India, Emily, Jess, Alice, Sienna and Ava.
Well done to all involved on a fantastic set of results and for representing Sponne with such professionalism, teamwork and determination.
