Congratulations to Moyo for another amazing result on Saturday July 12th. In the blistering heat over the weekend, he won the U17 Inter Boys Discus; taking gold in first place with a 58:59m throw - his third English Schools medal! The runner up was a 48m throw so you can see the scale of Moyo's achievement!

He has had his invitation already to once again represent England at the SIAB international competition in Derby on Saturday 19.

That's a wrap for boys futsal this school year; with three fantastic sessions involving our most committed students in Years 7, 8 & 9.
The effort and engagement from this group has been exceptional and we look forward to building on this, in September - and welcoming our new Y7s into the fold!

Darts Club has been oversubscribed during 24/25, leading to many very competitive practice sessions and tournaments. Our final event saw Jack take first place (yet again!).

Player of the season is James; for incredible consistency and determination to improve his game. Commitment awards for exceptionally high levels of engagement go to Ryan, Matthew, Albert, Gabriel & Jack.

Sponne's Equestrian teams secured multiple qualifications for the Nationals Schools Championships in October with fabulous show jumping rounds at Pickering Grange, Leicestershire. Team wins and individual placings for Tilly and Oliva, Annabelle, Emily and Alice. Alice doubled her qualifications after winning at Rectory Farm, Gloucestershire earlier in the month. Well done to all the students, these results are incredible and we are very proud of you. Anyone wishing to compete at a NSEA competition please get in touch with Mrs Ross- we compete across dressage, show jumping and arena eventing and there will be lots of competitions coming up- and we love to see you out representing Sponne!
